I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE HERE!

My name’s Emily! I live in a small, rural town in Northwest Indiana with my husband, son and our 3 dogs. We own a couple acres and are slowly turning it into our own little hobby farm. We have a small garden, my horse and several chickens too.

We’re a very outdoorsy family. You can usually find us fishing, boating, taking a hike with the dogs or just relaxing on the front porch watching the sunset together.

When I'm not behind the camera I love to grab a coffee and browse target, bake fresh bread and sugar cookies, or jump into a new DIY project. I'm not one to sit still for long so I'm usually up to something.

I was that friend in high school who always had a camera in hand and documented everything. I guess you could say I never outgrew that phase. Since having my son, my passion for photograph has grown exponentially. I understand better than ever that time is fleeting, and photos are often all we have left to savor our most cherished memories. My goal is to capture those special moments for you to hold on to, in the most authentic way possible.

I strive for my photography to have a level of intimacy to it; for you to feel your images as much as you see them. When booking with me, you can expect a mostly unposed session. I’ll give some prompts and suggestions to guide you along the way but overall, my goal is for your images to represent real life and real moments. The little things that define your family, your connection, and your love. If that’s your style too we’re going to be a great fit.
